Simply the best is a personal tribute to my grandmother’s beloved, timeworn cookbook — a collection of handwritten recipes passed down over generations. The cover features a scanned image of the original cookbook, with its pages spilling out over the edges to pay homage to the weathered look of the well-loved original. This project blends sentiment with structure — combining layout design, scanned ephemera, and modern type choices to preserve the book’s character while enhancing its legibility and usability for future generations.
